Welcome to StoryCoin ("StoryCoin", "we", "us" or "our"). StoryCoin is a platform where AI-created stories are published as short-form videos and each story is associated with its own digital coin. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, applications, social media content and related services (together, the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Risk warning: Crypto assets are highly volatile. Their value can go down as well as up, and you may lose all of the money you put in. Only trade what you can afford to lose.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using the Service you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you are not located in, or a resident of, any jurisdiction where use of crypto assets or the Service is prohibited or restricted. You are responsible for complying with all laws that apply to you.

2. The Service

StoryCoin uses artificial intelligence to write stories, design characters, illustrate scenes and animate them into vertical videos. These videos may be published on StoryCoin and on third-party platforms such as TikTok. When a story is launched, a coin associated with that story may be created. Users may view stories and, where available, acquire, hold or trade story coins.

We may add, change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

3. No Financial Advice

Nothing on the Service constitutes financial, investment, legal or tax advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any crypto asset. Story coins are not shares, securities or ownership interests in StoryCoin, in any story, or in any intellectual property. Holding a story coin does not entitle you to profits, revenue, dividends, voting rights or any claim against StoryCoin. Popularity, views or engagement of a story do not guarantee any value for its coin. You should do your own research and consult an independent professional before making any decisions.

4. Assumption of Risk

You acknowledge and accept that:

The price of crypto assets can be extremely volatile and you may lose your entire purchase amount.
Blockchain transactions are irreversible. Assets sent to a wrong address or lost through a compromised wallet cannot be recovered.
Markets for story coins may be illiquid, and you may be unable to sell at any price.
Smart contracts, blockchains and wallets may contain bugs, be attacked or fail.
Laws and regulations relating to crypto assets may change and could adversely affect the Service or your coins.

5. Wallets and Transactions

To use certain features you may need to connect a third-party crypto wallet. You are solely responsible for the security of your wallet, private keys and seed phrases. We never ask for your private keys or seed phrases and we do not custody your assets. Network fees ("gas") and any third-party fees are your responsibility.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including money laundering, terrorist financing or sanctions evasion;
Engage in market manipulation, wash trading, pump-and-dump schemes or other deceptive trading practices;
Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with StoryCoin;
Interfere with, disrupt, scrape or reverse engineer the Service or attempt unauthorized access to it;
Upload or transmit malware or any harmful code;
Harass, abuse or harm other users.

7. Intellectual Property

All stories, characters, artwork, videos, text, logos and other content provided through the Service (the "Content") are owned by StoryCoin or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Owning a story coin does not grant you any rights in the Content. You may share our videos using the sharing features of the platforms where they are published, but you may not copy, modify, sell or commercially exploit the Content without our prior written permission.

8. AI-Generated Content

Stories on StoryCoin are fictional and generated with the help of artificial intelligence. Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, or real events is coincidental unless expressly stated. AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies and should not be relied upon as factual.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service may link to or integrate with third-party services such as TikTok, other social media platforms, wallets, blockchains and exchanges. We do not control these services and are not responsible for their content, policies or availability. Your use of them is governed by their own terms.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that the Service will be secure, error-free or free of harmful components.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StoryCoin and its affiliates, officers, employees and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or crypto assets, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed one hundred US dollars (USD 100).

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless StoryCoin and its affiliates from any claims, losses, liabilities and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms or any law.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, including if we believe you have violated these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where StoryCoin is established, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise.
